Jesse Stone
LEAD RAFT GUIDE
Jesse Stone, a.k.a. “J-$”, has been a licensed Idaho Rafting Guide since 2007. Jesse started working in the warehouse of a busy multi-day rafting company when he was 14. Days of mowing the yard and fixing broken coolers lead to going on big Saturday rafting trips on the Salmon River to help collect swimmers and cut the watermelon at lunch. Ever since then, he was hooked. Jesse’s favorite river since childhood is the Lochsa.

LEAD RIVERBOARD SAFETY / LEAD RIVERBOARD INSTUCTOR
Rio is our Professional Riverboard Instructor and Lead Safety for Mammoth Lochsa Rafting Trips. He has competed at the International Riverboarding Championships. His passion for the sport has driven its popularity to new levels in recent years. From riverboarding theory to board design, his love for riverboarding has inspired people across the globe.

Austin Wassmuth
LEAD RAFT GUIDE
Austin Wassmuth, a.k.a. “A-Dub”, has been a licensed Idaho Rafting Guide since 2008. Austin bagged legendary rafting trips such as the Selway River, Middle-Fork Salmon, and the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, all before he was 10 years old. Austin has very skilled river instincts with thousands of river miles under his PFD.

RAFT GUIDE
Ben Marek, has been a licensed Idaho Rafting Guide since 2008. Ben grew up spending his family vacations running many of the West Coast’s famous multi-day rafting river sections. Ben has a deep connection to the river and his instincts for rafting are unmatched.

LEAD RIVERBOARD SAFETY / LEAD RIVERBOARD INSTRUCTOR
Grizmon is considered a pioneer for Riverboarding big whitewater in the Pacific Northwest. From sending it on the Lochsa during floodstage all the way up to Class V sections in Alaska. You will always find this man pushing the limits of what is possible on a Riverboard.

RAFT GUIDE
A true Idaho wild child. Shane was born and raised in the foothills of the Gospel Hump Wilderness in Idaho. Shane grew up hunting, skiing, biking, kayaking, and rafting. He doesn’t have any days on the couch. if you need to find a new hobby ask this guy he probably does it.

Steve Wassmuth
RIVER GUIDE / WAREHOUSE MANAGER
a.k.a. “Wasso”, a true river legend and Idaho county local. He has been guiding since the 80’s. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Idaho rivers and history.
Q: How do you know if someone had Wasso as their river guide? A: They’ll tell you.

Matt Walker
RAFT GUIDE
Matt Walker, a.k.a. “Coolwater Walker”, has been a licensed Idaho Guide since the 90s. He has been guiding Lochsa Rafting trips for over 20 years. Matt’s passion for rivers drove him to be an accomplished Class V kayaker and rafting guide in Idaho and Alaska.

Mike Walker
RAFT GUIDE / RIVERBOARD SAFETY / RIVERBOARD INSTRUCTOR
Mike Walker, a.k.a. “Whitewater Walker”, has been an Idaho Licensed River Guide since the mid 90’s. His nickname comes from his constant craving for Whitewater. He has guided on most of the rivers in Idaho and has traveled internationally chaseing water on his Riverboard.

RIVERBOARD SAFETY / HEAD CHEF
Thomas grew up close to the Lochsa in the nearby towns of Kamiah and Grangeville Idaho. He has a deep connection with the area and is always willing to lend his local knowledge. Tom is well known for being stoked. Get ready for a great time.

We have actually never seen Claire outside of Lochsa country; so the jury is still out as to if she even exists in the real world.

RAFT GUIDE
Tyrel lives in Moscow Idaho and spends his Springs on the Lochsa River. Tyrel is an accomplished boatman with exceptional whitewater rafting skills. He is known in the area for sending huge lines and giving big rides.

Cody Northrup has a passion for whitewater which drove him to become a Lochsa Guide. Cody always enjoyed any activity outdoors. Hunting, fishing, rafting, and kayaking he is a fierce Idaho Outdoorsman.
